SAN JOSE (KCBS) – People camping outside stores before Black Friday is nothing new. But one man in San Jose has taken it to a whole new level.
Miguel Anguino pitched his tent outside the Best Buy store on Almaden Expressway in San Jose on Sunday, November 16.
“It’s not a waste of time. If you’re able to do it, if your work schedule and you have friends that can trade shifts with you, then more power to you,” he said.
This is the fourth year Anguino has been waiting in line at Best Buy.
“I bought a couple of TVs. Last year, I got the Xbox One on their midnight Black Friday release, a couple of tablets and video games,” he said.
And what’s on his list this year? “Getting a 50-inch television, a Microsoft Surface 2, and a couple of video games.”
Anguino said he figures he could save as much as $4,000 this year.
